                                                SEASONAL MOWING HELP

The Town of Limestone is seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and capable of carrying out assigned duties independently once trained for the seasonal mowing of Town properties.  The position will also entail working on various other projects and duties as needed and/or when mowing may not be needed.  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and possess at least a Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.  The position runs from Memorial Day, or as soon as an applicant is found, until late September, or possibly somewhat longer, depending upon the weather.  To apply stop in or contact the Limestone Town Office for an application at: 93 Main Street; 325-4704; or email  This email address is being protected from spambots.    CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER-LOCAL PLUMBING INSPECTOR WANTED

The Town of Limestone is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Code Enforcement Officer and Local Plumbing Inspector (LPI).  These are position defined in State law for municipalities and require State certification in the two areas of expertise.  Experience and certification as a Code Enforcement Officer and/or LPI in Maine and/or one with building trades, surveying, engineering/design, plumbing/septic, or related experience, preferred.  Ability to pass all of the State tests and requirements required within the given time frame of State requirements.  This will be either a part-time, call-in/as-needed, or contracted position.   A Cover letter, resume, and at least three work-related references can be submitted via postal mail, email, or dropped off in person at/to:  Town Manager, Limestone Town Office Building, 93 Main Street, Limestone, ME  04750; This email address is being protected from spambots.                                         Economic/Chamber Coordinator

The Limestone Development Foundation & Limestone Chamber is seeking a well rounded, dependable, enthusiastic person to become our Economic/Chamber Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to help the two organizations in facilitating, promoting, and ensuring community and economic development. Position offers a 25 flex-hour work week. Pay will be based on experience. Year round position.

The Town of Limestone is seeking proposals for the mowing of Town properties for the summer season.  Estimated total area, including a variety of terrains, is approximately 21 acres.  All interested parties must request the RFP and list of properties by contacting or visiting the Limestone Town Office, 93 Main Street, Limestone, ME 04750; 325-4704; This email address is being protected from spambots.
