«> The Limestone Water and Sewer District will make a payment arrangement with

any customer. This arrangement allows you to pay your bill in installments over a

specified period of time. Contact the District for more information.

»t* Call 211 and explain your needs. The operator may be able to refer you to the

appropriate organization(s).

»> Check with the Limestone Town Office at 93 Main Street. The telephone number

there is 325-4704. Ask to speak to the General Assistance Department, Donna

Bernier, Town Manager.

<« The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has an office at

Skyway Plaza off Bennett Drive in Caribou.

* Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP): telephone: 1-800-432-7881.

•J* Some churches provide some assistance both to members and non-members. Their

telephone numbers are found in the phone book.

*t* The (MPUC) Maine Public Utilities Commission has a Consumer Assistance

Division to assist utility customers who have a complaint or disagreement with a

regulated utility. Their toll-free number is 1-800-452-4699.
