Help Wanted: Driver/Operator

The Town of Limestone has an immediate full time opening for a Driver/Operator at its public works department.  This is a skilled and semi-skilled position in the operation of automotive equipment and light, moderately heavy and heavy equipment.  Work involves the safe and efficient operation of heavy truck, snowplow, street sweeper, grader, backhoe, pay loader and bulldozer.  Duties include the performance of manual or semi-skilled labor in connection with the public works maintenance and construction activities, and snow and ice removal operations.

Preferred applicants should have experience in the operation of heavy and specialized automotive equipment, a high school graduate or equivalency, possess a valid Class B license or be able to obtain the license within 3 months, be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screening, and be a team player.
