Budget Committee, 6:30 pm, May 23

The Limestone Budget Committee will meet Thursday, May 23, at 6:30 pm, in the Limestone Municipal Building Selectboard Chambers to review the FY 2020 budget and give their recommendations.

The public is welcome to attend.

CDBG Grant Public Hearing, May 15, 6:00pm

The Town of Limestone will hold a Public Hearing on May 15, 2019, at 6:00 PM, at the
Limestone Town Office, 93 Main Street, Limestone, Maine, 04750, to discuss an application
being submitted to the State of Maine CDBG program for a Community Development Block
Grant Program. The purpose of the hearing is to request grant funds to provide economic
development program assistance to help local businesses obtain additional business
equipment, invest in capital infrastructure, and create jobs. The businesses include Caldwell
Sanitation, Gervais Fencing and Guardrail Inc., and Hometown Fuels. Public comments will
be solicited at this hearing and will be submitted as part of the application’s required
All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the proposal are invited to
attend this Public Hearing. Comments may be submitted in writing to Elizabeth Dickerson,
Town Manager, at any time prior to the Public Hearing. TDD/TTY users may call 711. If you

Public Meeting, High Street Sidewalk Project, June 11, 6:30 pm

Please join MaineDOT at a public meeting to discuss the construction of new sidewalks and crosswalks on High Street, from Vernon St. to Access Hwy,. and on Huggard Ave, from High St. to Main St., and on Main St., from Access Hwy to Michaud Park.

Representatives of MDOT will be present on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 starting at 6:30 pm   to listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project. The Department is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues. Anyone with an  interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
