Town of Limestone

The Town of Limestone is presently seeking candidates to fill a current full time police officer vacancy. This position offers a comprehensive package including a competitive wage, Maine State retirement, employee and family health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, twelve paid holidays, and overtime/detail opportunities. Preference will be given to Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates or equivalent certification.

Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years of age, be a high school graduate or equivalent, have completed the Maine Criminal Justice Academy preservice certification course and hold a valid driver’s license with no adverse driving record. A background check, polygraph, job assessment, fitness, medical evaluations and other testing will be conducted.
