1. Fill out reason for application IE; Demolition, Construction, Change of Use
Applicant fills out application completely and returns it for review.
Applicant is not authorized to begin work until a permit has been granted.
Once the CEO receives complete application and reviews it, they will either grant permit,grant permit with conditions, deny application with reasoning, or submit application to theappropriate Board(s), and/or inform applicant that a State Department(s) review and approval is required.
Prior to permit being granted the applicant will need to pay the appropriate fees for such permit.
A permit is not needed to re-roof a structure or to re-side a structure or to do new coverings (flooring, sheetrock, paneling, counter tops etc.).
A permit is not needed if replacing windows and doors with the same size windows and doors in the existing locations.
If a new location or size of window and/or door is being done a permit will be needed as this will change structural integrity and means of egress.
